“But we’ve always done it this way!”  “Why should this group suddenly get special treatment?”  Talking about issues of diversity in groups with well-established traditions can be challenging.  Designed to avoid blame and focus instead on growth, this session allows groups to see how their organization or institution can be enhanced by diversity rather than hampered by it.  Issues including language, visibility, opportunities and leadership are covered.  Humour and stories make this presentation a low-risk way to talk about a high-risk topic.
